Je suis une ecrivaine scientifique /romanciere Canadienne et j'ai grandi dans les Rocheuses (près de Banff).

I'm a Canadian scientific writer, editor, and novelist who grew up in the Rocky Mountains (close to Banff). I will be in France 3 months this time, following the ideas of Jane Goodall, to do good in the world and to spread joy and hope for others. I plan to wwoof and walk and camp in this time. My schedule is flexible. Now and then I have work on my laptop.

I am a yoga and meditation teacher and I love singing too.

Tabula Rasa. I used to have so much to say, and now, it seems better to just be open and see what the road offers.

Heading soon on the Voie d'Arles or another camino probably... would love to meet a few people here and there as I go and bring you a taste of Canada.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always been the kind of person to share a couch or a ride or whatever helps! Enjoy having couch surfers and love meeting new people when I travel. Have loved my hitch-hiking trips and love interesting cool hitch-hikers too.

I have also done a lot of farm volunteering with wwoofing on my travels -- love helping out with a few jobs here and there if you have any house renovation projects or gardens to weed! :)

I mainly play Celtic/Breton music now on my flute.

I sing sometimes. Mainly yoga mantras, also old cowboy/cowgirl tunes around a campfire.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I grew up in the Rocky Mountains and kind of think I was raised by the trees more than people as I spent more time with horses, trees, rocks, and the sky than with people until I went off to University.

One week I hugged a shark, flew an airplane, and tried to ride a steer in a rodeo. That would probably count as the most amazing week so far.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a yoga teacher and love helping people with their posture, diets for inflammation, etc.

I can teach meditation and breath work.

I can also teach writing, or edit a paper for you, or a web page. I can help improve English.

I also used to teach high school science, chemistry, and math, so if anyone is working on those subjects I would love to help too!
