ABOUT ME

We, my husband and I, are retired but not dead yet. While we cwn we get the most out of life with friends,avtivities and travelling.We canoe,cycle,camp travel,read,love theatre. We've volunteer taught in Tanzania,Nepal and China.The most fun in travelling is the people you meet, We're open to new ideas. Partying is not our bag but wine and small groups is. Loud music is not for us. Dancing, theatreand culture is.

PHILOSOPHY

We've had a great life, fullof opportunities in Canada. I'd like to pay back by helping 3rd world countries while continuing to enjoy the activities we've always done

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have hosted Servas, Hospitality exchange and Globalfreeloaders participants. At this point in life we're travelling too much to host others but when we settle down we will again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We stayed with Angela Gredler and her sister in Vienna for 3 days. it was a great experience meeting her friends and sharing dinners together at special winery places she knew. We enjoyed lots of conversation and great hospitality

Music, Movies, and Books

drama movies-those that aren't vicious and ones where th actors have a vocabulary of mor than 4 letter words.Semi classical and light opera and music which soothes rather than explodes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We rafted the Nile--yippee! We've travelled extensively in Asia, South America and North America. We've been fotunate in having summers off for many years and now we are retired.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy meeting people who have a knowledge of their country history and their politics. It's great to exchange ideas from informed people and thos who are passionate re issues as long as they aren't dogmatic
