ABOUT ME
I'm trying to get myself together and accomplish some dreams. Or at least better myself in the long term. It's a difficult process, especially feeling like I'm getting a late start on things. I guess I'm a classic "late bloomer" type. But little by little, step by step is the way I have to work at it. If I can do a little thing, maybe the big things aren't out of reach. I tend to be kind of casual. I don't dress up for much of anything, really a jeans and t-shirt kind of person.
I admit, I signed up full of the idea of traveling, then life crashed in and I forgot about this place for a long time.
PHILOSOPHY
To live with honor, stand by your word, be considerate of others, and speak with truth.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At this time I can't really host travelers, as I still need to discuss it with my roommate, but I'm willing to hang out and talk about the area, and any place I've been. Which are almost all in Florida, but I've been to a bunch.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet. Hopefully sooner rather than later!

Music, Movies, and Books
Lots of scifi and fantasy stuff... I've been reading the Sagas of Icelanders, the Eddas, and a bit of Terry Pratchett recently though. Music wise, I like metal, goth, rock, techno, some classical.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Los Angeles just to see a show. Brendan Small was going to perform Galaktikon live and since it's not really meant to be played on stage I knew it might never happen again. So me, who grew up a hair metal kid, finally got to see a show on the Sunset Strip at the Roxy. Best night.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot of skills, my main one is sewing. I also know a little bit about a whole bunch of others. Papermaking, bookbinding, woodworking, embroidery... If its crafty, I've probably at least dabbled in it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Lasagna, Mexi-melt, brownies, cake, cookies. I know how to cook a fair meal, but my true talent is dessert. I am also handy with most tools.
