Life is a Journey, so why not make the most of every moment of the Journey? Cathy is an independent tutor who loves to teach reading and language and speciaizes in special education. She has been in special education for close to 30 years and taught in the classroom for 12 years. She has grown children and a Passion for Adventure and Travel. Chris was in the Family Financial Service Business and he developed an extraordinary set of people skills. Then amidst the magic of the Firebird rising out of the ashes in their hometown of Phoenixville, PA, Chris connected with Cathy and their adventure together has been nothing short of amazing.... We both love meeting new people, and helping to make the world a better place, while at the same time Travelling, Biking, Hiking, Kayaking, Skiing, Rock Climbing, and seeing a Sunrise and Sunset as often as possible! We just got back from a Month in Ireland, England, and France, and traveled with just a backpack, via Plane, Train, Bus, Ferry, Bla Bla Car, and Couch Surfing, Airbnb, and Hostels, and most importantly bicycle, as we biked every city we were in.....This will be our first Work Away experience, but are looking to make it the first of many, for many years, and have everything in place to make it happen!! We are hard workers and are willing to learn and help with whatever tasks you may have for us to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To travel the world and meet fellow Travellers. Also when home Cathy and I enjoy hosting others.....All the Couch Surfing Experiences we have had are truly amazing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kayaked down the Delaware River to New Hope, PA, and Biked back to Car in the Dark, and than saw Live Music afterwards at world famous John and Peters.
