Hi, I am an automotive engineer living in Munich/Germany. I came to this city for my Master's degree, but stayed due to a job I started after finishing my studies. Generally I wouldn't consider me as a frequent traveler than more of a spontaneous one. I like the idea of packing stuff and just go somewhere you're attracted to. Recently I started doing bike trips and I love it. I don't need to go to a far distance country to experience a nice time and having kind of an adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love spontaneous trips or trips by bike, I like the idea of couchsurfing. I can stay somewhere spontaneously or if I am on a trip alone, finding somebody for a conversation. And staying at local people is even better for earning a lot of local information. And as a host, I learn a lot about the adventures and experiences of other people.
So it's kind of a win-win situation for host and guest.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly I am listening to mainstream music or a bit of rock, hip hop or r'n'b. But my Spotify Playlist also has classic music in it. So it just depends on the current mood.
With films it's the same. Sometimes I love to watch an action comedy, sometimes a thriller. I have a tendency for movies based on real events, because they make me imagine, that this could really happen and make it more tangible.
I am not a big fan of sci-fi or wizard Books. More of a good adventure or crime book. But I also like books about life topics, like economical or psychological.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best experiences I had, were traveling in a far distance country like Japan and meeting there a friend. Flying away to the other side of the globe and standing there at a place where absolutely nothing is familiar to you and then there is a friend who welcomes you and shows you all the cool local stuff from his perspective. That's really cool!

Generally I am very lovely and easy to handle. I am a person who physically just can't be unpolite. So you will never have trouble with me.
