I'm an educator in apprenticeship and I grew up and currently live in the region of Würzburg, Germany. In my spare time I like to meet my friends and most of the time we're making music together. I'm the singer of the band "Damion & Freunde". As I'm playing many different instruments, I'm always down to meet new people to jam together :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to get to know some locals on low budget. I prefer to experience places apart from sightseeing objects with hundreds of tourists. For me it's more important to get to know the people of a city rather than popular places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to indie-pop and rock like the Kooks, but also indie-folk like the Mighty Oaks, The Head And The Heart. In general I like various kinds of music, but it should be handmade with real instruments :-)

I really liked to read "The Diary Of A Young Girl" after visiting Amsterdam for the first time.

My favourite movies are "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower", "The Art Of Getting By", "Breakfast Club" and "Dead Poets Society".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was inspired to try couchsurfing after a 4-day-trip to Amsterdam, where my girlfriend Sophia and I stayed in a lovely private flat. Our host was so welcoming and pleasant that we're trying this again now - just in other cities.
