I'm Venezuelan, lived in the UK for 6 years and graduated in the university of Southampton as Medicinal Chemist. I'm currently taking a break after finishing my degree to travel around, learn about societies, cultures and meet awesome people!

I'm on Couchsurfing, coz I think is a platform which connects a community of interesting people who wants to share good moments with others and give a hand to other fellow travelers. I think in the modern world the interpersonal connection is every day more scarce and having an app that stimulates people's interactions and good deeds is great!

兴趣

Since very little my passion for food has been my focus, always trying new recipes, cooking for friends, for events and even in restaurants. Whilst studiying at university worked in some local restaurants and I have been always passionate about cooking meals for groups of friends and organise dinners for special occasions. Also enjoy I good night out, over the last year I have been Djing at different bars and clubs around Southampton, UK. Organising Latin parties and bringing a little bit of my culture to England.

To keep healthy I regularly work out and enjoy doing any kind of outdoors activities, back in my place of birth I was volunteer for a mountain rescue team which taught me a lot about the wilderness and emergency care.

I listen to pretty much every style of music know a little bit of everything, my favourite styles are Deep house, Latin beats, Reggae and Ska.

I'm not much of a reader as pretty much all the time I spend reading is some scientific paper or some other technical thing. If get a free chance always pick a cooking book and skim for new recipes and ideas.

Movies, I lije films and videos but I don't spend much time in front of a TV, so really just watched the classic films that most people have seen.

Volunteering for the mountain rescue team I had the chance of locating several people which were lost in the Avila national park in Caracas, Venezuela, which it was such a satisfying feeling. Bringing someone back and safe to their families.

Teach: definitely geeky conversations are allowed! Lol! So love teaching and talking about environment, chemistry, photography, motorbikes and of course if you haven't notice from all the other information FOOD! I love teaching people delicious recipes tricks and tips in the kitchen and in how and why to eat things. Also teaching the languages I'm comfortable talking is a fun way of getting to know people.

Learn: I would love to learn new languages, folklore from different ethics and nationalities, learning how society and social groups interact in different countries, and again food, from the comfortable home cook meals to crazy street food from all around the globe, that to me is the fuel of my creativity.

Share: love sharing stories, experiences and good moments with incredible people. And the best part is that everyone has something to offer.
PS: sharing a drink and a good meal is a must!

I'm a very clean, tidy and organised person, so definitely good stories, laughter, and if they trust me enough to use their hobs why not a great home made dinner =)
