Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find couchsurfing a really nice way to get to know people from around the world. I always was kind of impressed of the idea and now want to try it.

Interests

Apart from my studying, my biggest interest is making music. I play the accordion for about 15 years now, I play in a band (have a look at it if you want to: www.bombocombo.de) and have several 'side projects' where I play from time to time.
I also am trying to learn about computer programming right now, but on a really easy self-educational level.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like different kinds of music. I have a rather big interest in 'world music' and similar stuff. Lately, I discovered the music of Renaud Garcia-Fons, which really delighted me.
I'm reading quite a lot, but often crime novels and similar stuff. Lots of russian authors, where I can give some good recommendations :) I see a kind of lack in reading 'world literature', but I'm working on this. A 'world literature' book I really liked is '100 years of solitude' by Garcia-Marquez.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would say I'm really easy-going. I really love to cook! I like having interesting discussions, especially in kitchens during the night time ;)
