About Me

Well, I've just very recently traveled to Chile for a considerable amount of time, the friends that came along all have gone back to Mexico, but I'm sticking around for a while longer, hoping to connect with new people living here.

I switch a lot between deep focus when I'm working and just running around with friends and seeing new places in what's pretty much an improvised plan.

I love Mexican, Italian and Chinese food, hate Japanese food and want to bike at least 40 km in any new country I visit.

Currently I got a job that lets me work remotely (to a point) and I want to leverage that blessing into exploring this beautiful world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A couple of reasons:
- I'm an aspiring Digital Nomad
- A Friend recommended
- I like to do a lot of medium-term traveling (month plus where I'm also keeping regular work hours) and that's hard to finance without acquaintances.
- I had heard of CS before but looking into it, the community seems like an incredible bunch of people, selfless and outwards reaching, I can personally be quite introverted / timid at times so I'm hoping the CS arrangements end up being gateways to amazing experiences. : )

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a mixed bag when it comes to music, what I'm listening at the time keeps changing. I like Portugal, Glass Animals, Arctic Monkeys, RHCP, Golden Ganga, this is going to be too long.

Movies is another hard question, I loved 2013 Nightcrawler (intensely!), there's nothing like a good movie.
As for books, it feels like I've been reading nothing but blog posts for the last couple of years but I do love Antifragile, 1984 and just about anything I've read from Mishima.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved the company millions of dollars! Well, that doesn't sound that amazing really...
Put together I must have saved over 10k sneaking in into concerts and conferences throughout my life. : )

Teach, Learn, Share

Not sure what to put here. I can teach programming basics as well as english / spanish.
I can set you up with a quick and dirty website or blog, but honestly there would probably be better options there.
I can explain cryptocurrency (bitcoin, etc) to you and give some investing advicce :$$$: (I'm trying to be less obsessed with this topic but its too damn interesting)
I can share some Mexican History lessons, and my accumulated knowledge of movie trivia. : )

What I Can Share with Hosts

My time and company for the most part. (Right now I'm working from 09:00 PST to 17:00 PST, so it can get tricky)

Some small repairs (I'm surprisingly handy) and hopefully some stories, drink and laughs.
