ABOUT ME

I am an artist and actor born and raised in the Bay Area. I help run a theater company right in the heart of San Francisco's theater district. When I'm not putting on my own shows, I volunteer my time helping others with their shows. While San Francisco may be changing with the tech boom going on right now, there are still plenty of artsy musicians, bellydancers, burlesque dancers, and circus performers keeping the soul of our city alive.

As an artist, travel is often out of my price range. The awesome amazing people on this site make it possible to go places I would never be able to travel to otherwise. Sharing people's homes and apartments is an amazing experience, and I'm so thankful that this service continues to survive and thrive.

I worked for years in San Francisco as a bicycle tour guide. I loved that job. Meeting people and showing them around a city you love is pretty much the best ever. And while I no longer work as a tour guide, I still have my blog up from when I was.

San Francisco has an amazing nightlife! I feel like there's something going on every night of the week. Day time raves, street festivals, bawdy circus productions, Balkan dance parties... it feels like the options for what to do around here are endless!

Even if shows or parties aren't your thing, San Francisco is a pretty amazing city to explore. Fresh organic local food, amazing local beers, fun local shops, and great open public spaces. You could spend weeks here looking at things for the first time and not see it all.

I specialize in longform improvised theater, both in the teaching of it and the performing of it. I have studied under Keith Johnstone, and founded the Un-Scripted Theater Company in 2002. The human mind is an amazing tool for creating stories without any sort of preplanning, and the study of the artform is a great way to expand your own growth as a human being.
