About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Well...trying to accept things I cannot change and enjoy changing things, that I can...

ABOUT ME

I'm a person that loves to meet other people and learn about their way of living and doing. Diversity is a force and in my opinion, you brighten your mind by meeting, talking and experiencing other cultures.

Interests

My big passion is music - even though I cannot play any instrument. I was singer in a band once (but very short, unfortunately). I love to sing at home (my neighbours probably hate me for that - but no complaints this far.....has to be creditet to my talent I guess, pfffffff:-))
I like watching football as well (both world and american football). Of course I do have my favorite teams, but that I will tell you when we meet some day...
Travelling, visiting friends, family and new friends is also on of my favorits. I am very fortunate to have many friends in many places around the world. Thanks to facebook, skype etc. it is not that difficult to keep in touch.
Apart from that I like learn about how things work...people, companies, cultures etc .....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One moment that really grabbed me, was when I was visiting my Italian friend Christian at Cesena for the first time. I knew him from his year as an exchange student at Århus. We lived in the same campus. so now it was my turn to visit him. I will never forget the hospitality, that I met staying at his place. On sunday the whole family was around the big dinner table and the atmosphere was so friendly and kind and cheerful and warm. This experience made me want to learn italian, so I could come back and speak with his family (Christian had to translate). So I did. I joined italian courses and 7 years later, I was able to sit around the table again and talk to everybody. It was really great.
