About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to travel and meet the world.

ABOUT ME

I'll have to ask them to give the most accurate response.
Most recently, my friend Christina called us Mauldin boys "un-human, more like a cave men." She makes this claim based on our "macho personalities". I told her that doesn't serve me justice because I'm too intelligent to be a cave man, but I have to admit she was on to something. I am a competitive person, and I like a good natural adrenaline rush. I'm a problem solver. I'm the guy that jumps from the balcony to the top of your moving truck to pass a couch into your new apartment because it couldn't fit up the stairs. I am impulsive and I often pleasantly surprise myself with the events that unfold from that nature. I'm a great friend when I'm around, but I tend to lose touch for extended periods of time. I'm torn between vagabonding and working on the road and settling down for a future and a family. My heart says vagabond but my common sense tells me to suit up. I still have not made a decision.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have a number of stories!
I was on a return trip down to Nicaragua, this time from Brownsville, Texas, all the way down by riding on board the converted family bus. Papa Scott had just brought us through Guatemala and into Honduras, where, just as we were topping a mountain range, the bus's brake began to rapidly fail, and then they failed completely. I remember the incident clearly, Papa Scott panicking and announcing it in a yell of fear, I had never seen fear or panic come out of that man. He got us safely down a grueling twisted-decline terrain using only the manual transmission (which was burnt out far beyond repair. That left us stranded, and led to my 7 month tenure in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
