About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Graduate and See the World (or Europe, at least)

ABOUT ME

I'm 21, just about to graduate from University and I've been bitten by the travel bug. I enjoy hiking, but most of my time lately has been taken up by school and summer jobs.

PHILOSOPHY

Live on the fly. Personally, whenever I've tried planning ahead, thing's haven't worked out, so I've taken to just doing what I feel like, when I feel like doing it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cannot currently host anyone because my housing status is in limbo. But after I get a job and move into a place of my own, I'd be more than happy to take in surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing personally, I've just recently found out about couch surfing from a friend.

Interests

I love music (particularly Supertramp, Pink Floyd, Rush, etc), and occupies most of my free time.
Hiking and travelling are up there as well. Living in Alberta, I have a lot of opportunities to go hiking in the mountains.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Supertramp, Pink Floyd, Rush, Flower Kings, the list goes on and on...

Movies: Firefly/Serenity, The Office (British Version), Clone High, The Shawshank Redemption, Minority Report

Books: Currently hooked on Harry Potter (no spoilers please!), also Orson Scott Card stuff, To Kill a Mockingbird, Catch 22.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd have to go with the West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island in BC, Canada. Simply amazing scenery, the best seven days of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would definitely lie to learn to play guitar or bass.
As for teching, I'm good at calculus... I could help someone get properly prepared for hiking if they've never done it before. My skills at planning cross-Europe backpacking trips remain to be tested.
