A native of the rainy but wonderful Glasgow, I am most charmed by places with a bit of grit about them. I am interested in cities and buildings, I like to hang out in art galleries, theatres and underground train networks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have just graduated and am full of beans for meeting people and seeing places and things - applying the last four years of studies to the world and hearing what you have to think about everything.

Interests

I like to make performance and to take pictures. I sing during car journeys. I have fenced epee since the age of 10. I like cycling but mostly to get places quickly. I enjoy swimming outside and scuba diving very much and talking about spaces.

Books about art like John Berger but also enjoying Satre, Iron in the Soul. Hunter S Thomson, sometimes Bukowski but he makes me angry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to tour a show I made with my dad when I was a teenager. We went all over the UK and to Norway. It was about teenage parent relationships and I hope to revisit it for the ten year anniversary in 2018.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach fencing although without kit it is a little tricky. I can teach you lots of rude Scottish words and I can sing some Scots songs for you. I make very good breakfasts and am happy to do so.
