Hi everyone

First of all, I hate when being asked to describe myself, especially when it should make a good impression :) I prefer meeting people in real life to make up my mind whether I find a person interesting or not. But since there will be no meeting without me giving some information about myself, here we go:

I grew up in Switzerland but most of my family is german (explains my name). I'm in 5th year medical school at University of Zurich, so I'm going to be a doctor sometimes. So when you have a specific question about any health condition, please don't ask me, ask google ;)

I like traveling a lot because I think it's the best way to broaden your horizon and to better understand the world and it's problems. With every trip, whether this is a neighbor country or the other end of the world, you learn something about a different culture and also a lot about yourself.

I'm on couchsurfing because I want to meet people from different countries and of different backgrounds. I think they are the best guides one can have to better understand a country.
