Hello everyone.
I've been a backpacker for quite a while and always love to meet new people and see new places. After traveling for quite a while myself and discovering the world I finally settled in England. However I'd still love to hear travel stories and meet new people from all over the world, so I offer a place to stay, a nice cup of tea, a cuddly dog and two sweet little cats.

I had the pleasure to meet fantastic hosts on my travels around the globe and loved the personal nature of the accommodation not only because it's cheaper than hostels but especially because most hosts showed me around, introduced me to their town (and friends) and were just absolutely interesting personalities. They could give me tips what to do, where to go, how to get there... I loved it!
So now that I finally have my own home I'd like to share it with all those backpackers and discoverers out there who are still on their journey.

Music: Imagine Dragons, Kate Bush, Boy and Bear, The Doors, The Beatles, Queen, Jason Mraz, Coldplay, some Eminem songs... I'm not so much into one genre but more into certain songs that just catch me

Movies: The Intouchables, The King's Speech, Magicians, Welcome to the Sticks, Erin Brockovich...
I also love Star Trek, Dr Who and Sherlock! :-D

Books: Jostein Gaarder 'The Orange Girl', The Harry Potter series (well, actually just the first 3 really), Audrey Niffenegger 'The Time Traveler's Wife', Bill Bryson 'Notes from a Small Island', Marc Haddon 'The Curious Incident of The Dog in the Night-Time'...

I think everyone can pride themselves on that because when you look at the odds in the big picture of the universe your birth is really quite magnificently unlikely. Everything else is a bonus.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I have studied to be a teacher so I can teach German and Art (painting, drawing, photography, some sculpturing, almost any kind of DIY...), well and a bit pedagogy.
I'd love to learn to play the guitar a bit better. Also if anyone loves to sing (like me) than I'd be happy to have a sing session.
I will obviously share my house, my dog (love to take him out for walks) my guitars, art equipment, sense of humour, TV screen, music, stories...
