Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I meet a lot of people that tell me how much money they save by using couchsurfing.

Don't worry! I'm in it for the local experience not money saving!

Interests

Food! I love trying local cuisine because that's the one thing that changes everywhere I go.

I'm a big beer drinker too, I think I was Belgian in my past life.

I'm also into sports. I play basketball and tennis but I like supporting all my teams: Atletico de Madrid, Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Braves, and the Charlotte Hornets.

And obviously I love to travel, especially getting the true local experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Reading: I don't think you'll meet a bigger Hemingway fan! He was a larger than life kind of guy and I really enjoy reading about his worldly experiences through his blunt but powerful writing style.

Movies: I'm a huge movie buff! I like movies that are inspiring or movies that make me think. Ex. Interstellar, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, etc.
