ABOUT ME

I'm naturally curious and always eager to find out about the things that move thoughts in people, businesses and governments. As I'm currently working and finishing my second master degree there's very little time to travel, but I'm sure after this it will pick up again. When I'm not studying you'll often find me playing the piano, listening to music, visiting small (and occasionally larger) concerts, hanging out with family and friends or just going for a walk in a more green area.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since my living situation doesn't allow me to host any surfers I am happy to take people on city tours, share a conversation over a cup of coffee, tea or something else, share some of my inside knowledge, enjoy a concert or museum together and other things. Just tell me what you are interested in doing and I might be able to help you find some hidden gems around the city. Being a bit of a geek for tiny details, you might just learn some interesting things :)

Interests

Having a background with Art and Culture studies it shouldn't be a surprise that I enjoy visiting museums, historical places and other interesting sights anywhere I go. Next to that, I enjoy keeping myself updated about the events that are happening all around us and having solid discussions about it (if you want).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learned that some of the most beautiful places are the most difficult to get to. I decended 1 hour in the dark trusting someone I had just met. Joined a bonfire on the beach that night only to find out the next day in what kind of an amazing place I had ended up in.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Dutch and English and would love to practice my basic French.

As I have studied Art and Culture studies, I can tell you quite a bit about that. Also, I really enjoy discussions about the society and world we live in and to share visions about the world.
