One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

June 2003: Bologna-Düsseldorf (1100km) by bike through the Lukmanier pass (1915m). Amazing how you experience places feeling them connected by a continuous path.

May + October 2016: Living in CrunchyTown (a community living Ina a warehouse in Melbourne without heating nor running water, just heaps of love and sharing, eating together, housekeeping together, playing together, dumpsterdiving, cooking, having fun and partying together).

July 2017: Building bamboo and Reed structures with the Canyaviva collective. Also partecipated to the building of the mainstage of WAO spytrance festival in Orvieto in Summer 2017

August - September 2017: Attending a permaculture design course. One month of intense learning how we could work synergically with nature in almost any field in order o live a healthier life & have higher respect for our environment.

July 2020: via degli Dei hike.
130km hike from Bologna to Florence in 5 days. Although we paused the second day to give rest to an injured ankle and cheated just a little bit the last day 😬 cause we were exhausted and would've never made it on time for a reserved room in Florence.
It was a tough but rewarding, meaning and bonding experience. A lot of nature you cross by, a lot of people you briefly meet and sometimes find connection with or even common acquaintances, a lot of moments you think to yourself "why the hell did I start this and why with almost 40°C?!?!" But then you enjoy your cold beer while dipping your body in a swimming pool while cuddling with your beloved.

August - September 2021: 10 days Vipassana silent meditation retreat @ Dhamma Atala (Lutirano, Tuscany). Learning the mind opening techniques of Anapana meditation in order to get centered and and Vipassana meditation to get in contact with some deeper and neglected wounds and heal them through the acceptance of the natural law of impermanence that makes pleasant phisical sensations so unworthy of attachment and unpleasant sensations so unworthy of avoidance and consequent stress/trauma
