ABOUT ME

Since I finished my job as a teacher at a primary school I have time enough for all those nice things in life: hiking, biking, rowing, canoeing, singing, playing guitar, gardening, photographing. Meeting friends for doing some sports or for making music. And I haven't stopped to do something to participate in making the world a little better, more peaceful, more careful about human being, more careful about nature . My partner Inke says I got a little quiet since I have quitted my job as a teacher. But I just enjoy living - or try to.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At home I would like to meet with people specially from other countries. I am a good listener, and I like to show some nice places of the city and the beautiful surrounding of Bonn.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My daughters were travelling a few times by couch-surfing and told me of some nice experiences. Though its not usual for a mid-60er like me to travel this way, I am open minded enough to see what happens. And I think it is e very fine way to discover a country for myself.
In my boyhood I enjoyed hich-hiking and I went all across Europe. I think that was a similar way of meeting people, I want to continue those experiences, but in a more regulated way.

In my job as a teacher I could do that all at once: teach, learn, share, it's a unity. Lots of nice children, I have shared lots of things with.
