"I'm on CS because I want to meet locals." Well, frankly I met a lot of locals while living in the hotels too by simply TRYING and getting out there and talking to the people OUTSIDE OF my hotel haha.

But those interactions were so short-lived (and many of them happen in the bars...and people in the bars can be weird...), while I'm hoping for some human connection. I've become best friends with my hosts and people staying at my place even after they/I left. We've been talking weekly ever since, and that kind of long-lasting connection is what I love about CS.

That's also why I believe that CS is not just a "free hotel." I hope I can provide WAY more than that with the people who live at my place and with the hosts I stay with.

I used to practice hockey and I like the gym. So if you want to do some kind of physical activity I'm in.

I'm not a super clean freak, but I hate leaving a mess at my host's place. Every day when I leave, I will make sure that your room looks as if there's no Couchsurfer (every time when I host someone who makes a mess, I'm dying inside. So I'll make sure that you won't have that feeling....).
