Hello!

My name is Christina and I'm originally from Edmonton, Canada. I spent a few years living in Montreal, Canada before moving to Asia to teach English. After two years in Asia, I ended up in Guatemala working on a permaculture farm and fell in love with the work! I'm now living in Bristol, England, taking a year-long course on permaculture. I tend to get itchy feet and want to experience as much of the world as possible in the short time that I have.

I am in love with the idea of travellers helping each other out wherever possible. I think it is a great way to get to know the real depths of a city from a local's perspective, and also a fantastic way to connect with new people while travelling.

Interessi

Some of my passions are permaculture, yoga, reading, drawing/painting, music (although I'm not particularly musically talented.. I do like a good jam session), and, of course, travelling. I like to cook and enjoy meals with friends. I can enjoy a wild night out, but am also equally happy to just snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie on a Friday night.

Musica, film e libri

My tastes vary widely (as do pretty much everyone's, right?)
I'm a sucker for the oldies - motown, folk, classic rock, etc.
I love watching movies and am usually down for anything. I particularly enjoy Wes Anderson, Taranino, and Miyazaki.
Some of the books I've enjoyed most recently are the likes of Lolita and Anna Karenina.

I am a certified yoga instructor and would love to share my practice. I also am always up for learning about new languages, and as an English teacher, I can certainly help you brush up on your English.

As a guest in your home, I'd be willing to help out wherever I was needed. Cleaning, cooking, you name it! Aside from labour, I'd also be keen on sharing some laughs, stories, music, and yoga.
