About Me

I'm an outgoing youngster, open to practically everything and anything, have little demands and am very flexible.

After completing my high school education, I opted for taking a sabbatical year and let my mind ponder and in order to figure out how I would like to continue my education.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My sabbatical year consists of a road trip along the West Coast, working my way north on organic farms. Ideally, I would like to stop by to check out and explore the cities that are strewn upon my path i. e. San Fransisco, Portland (OR), Seattle, and Vancouver and would need a place to stay while I'm there. I'm trying to save money (as we all are) and would appreciate meeting other people to enhance my experience by simply hearing their takes on life and their stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Coldplay, Simon and Garfunkel, Eddie Vedder, Norah Jones, the Eagles, America, Rodriguez, Angus and Julia Stone, George Ezra, and some electro

Movies: Grand Hotel Budapest, Inception, Forrest Gump, The Graduate, Cool Hand Luke

Books: I haven't read enough to legitimately call one my favorite of all time but right now these are the few that are sticking with me: The Stranger (Albert Camus), the Dharma Bums (Jack Kerouac), various works by Hermann Hesse (Siddhartha, Narcissus and Goldmund, Demian). I also really like Michael Pollan's books (Omnivore's Dilemma, In Defense of Food, Cooked)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All amazing things are relative to the person's understanding of the term 'amazing' and the kind of value they attribute towards it. One amazing thing I have done or am doing right now is going on a road trip along the West Coast (partially Pacific Coast Highway) and while traveling up north, I am working on organic farms, meeting fascinating people with amazing stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

An open mind, good conversation and humor, thought provoking discussions and insights.
I am also a pretty decent cook or so I've been told ;)
