CURRENT MISSION

We are about to go on a 1-2 year backpacking adventure around the world! We would love to meet people along the way and learn about local cultures.

ABOUT ME

We are a couple from Seattle, Washington, USA, both age 24, and very excited to come to New Zealand on a year-long working holiday visa, and then to travel around Asia and India after! We would like to experience new cultures and meet wonderful people. We eat mostly vegetarian (Peter eats some seafood and Christina is thinking about it), but are very open-minded and non-judgmental about others' choices. We love to cook good food!

Christina--I practice yoga several times per week and would love to share it with you, I plan to take a teaching certificate course in India after leaving New Zealand; I also love painting; Peter is excellent on the drums and Christina plays violin (though it's been a while); we enjoy hiking, the ocean, and animals. At home, Christina has been working at an addiction treatment center and plans to go into clinical psychology, and Peter has been working with non-profit arts organizations, such as the Seattle Opera and Earshot Jazz.

We're taking a 1-2 year break from routines to see the world, getting interesting temporary work when possible to fund the trip. Looking forward to new experiences.
