Hey guys my name is Christina, I am a traveler from Melbourne, Australia heading straight into Amsterdam for a 6 month trip around Europe. I'm hoping to head to Amsterdam, Germany, France & as much as I can really. So much to see in this world!! I'm heading up late June for a trip of a lifetime, exploring, adventuring and soaking up all that different cultures have to offer and different warps of life. I'm brand spanking new to couchsurfing yet am excited to stay with some lovely hosts!

I'm a recent vegetarian / finished a business degree but don't want that 9-5 and want to get out there onto new horizons.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and connect with others. I would love company as I'm going alone and to have a buddy to show me what Amsterdam has to offer and all it's little hidden gems, drink vino and have a boogie or even just a night in enjoying some food. In return to offer I'll be a companion, helping hand and help wherever is needed. I'm respectful and will care for your space - keep it tidy and pitch in and even though my cooking skills are bleak... I'll try and cook some traditional Aussie cuisine? Haha (whatever that is)!

I believe whatever goes around comes around ~ and even though I'm new to couchsurfing friends I meet along the way will have a place to stay in Australia with me if they ever choose to come down under. I love the sharing culture about it and how it enables people to experience life and the world with others as a helping hand. Sharing, giving and returning.

Horticulture, floristry, visual art (painting), photography, music of all types but particularly Jazz, soul, funk, rhythm and blues & hip hop, philosophical chats and rants, exploring spirituality and the questions of life, dancing for the sheer love of shaking it off and playing Dora the explorer.

In my spare time I go to bars, see friends and sometimes go for a dance. I work full time in hospitality and retail also learning floristry so have been very busy. One of my biggest interests is travel and never been so ready to get out there. Travel is food for the soul. 🍃🌸

Eclectic taste in music: Anything to rock, jazz, funk, hip hop & rhythm and blues to future beats and electronic house.

Movies: I'd write a list but it would go forever because I'm a massive movie buff. Genres would probably be Sci-fi, comedy, thriller, documentaries & a little light drama (who doesn't like a good chick flick). Love television series like Games of Thrones, Shameless & Luther.

Took a four day trip on the whitsunday islands on a tall ship with my sister (actually a birthday present) - there was a meteor shower one night and we saw all the shooting stars come in clear view mid ocean.
