About Me
ABOUT ME
Hey there. I'm Christina, and people mostly call me that.
I graduated from uni a year ago and I'm trying to figure out what to do with my life. This will probably take me a while, but I'm not in any particular hurry.
In the mean time I'm working at the Arts cinema in Cambridge. I feel pretty lucky to have met the people I have there as they are frickin' awesome. So I'm having a pretty sweet time in general, but there's lots I want to move on to. I'm definitely a creative not a scientist, despite my degree-length foray into the sciences. I just doesn't fit.
I'm not so good at telling funny stories as I tend to laugh before the punch-line, but I'm good at hearing them. I'd like to meet some people I have a few things in common with, hang out and maybe learn a little something.
PHILOSOPHY
Are you having a good time? Happiness trumps success.

Interests
Bopping to sweet tunes. unexpected hugs. people like me, and sometimes people very different from me. hunting for hidden treasures at car-boots. homemade presents. making things. illustration and real animation. dressing up. perfectly bad photographs. vintage clothes and awesome personal style. patchwork. films that suck you in and make you forget you have a body. music that does the same. friends who make you feel lucky just to be there. waffles and pancakes for breakfast. the ritual of playing records. the sea and mountains and forests, and being in them all. books that make you think. bad jokes and great stories.

Music, Movies, and Books
oh boy, the killer. SURPRISE! I like music.
A little taster might include fair ohs, tall ships, best coast, four tet, broken social scene, death cab, maps & atlases, bob dylan, bruce springsteen, sufjan stevens, andrew bird, lemuria, the drums, grizzly bear, the dirty projectors, the national, bonobo, hud mo, tokyo police club, ray charles, battles...you can fill in the rest.
Films, films, another selection not promising to be all-inclusive; juno, pulp fiction, the goonies, some like it hot, fight club, taxi driver, requiem for a dream, american history x, senna, blue valentine, apocalypse now, edward scissorhands, little miss sunshine, milk and lots and lots more.
Books I'm even worse at remembering but at the moment I'm quite mesmerised by the beat generation, especially the travel writing and everything by kerouac, cassidy, boroughs and ginsberg. yes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went in a hot air balloon yesterday. Maybe that's pretty standard.
