Hey, I'm Christina!

I am going to travel for a longer period of time, because I once fell in love with it and I thought it might be good to spend lots of time with things you love most. I would like to see, feel and get to know better different cultures, lifestyles, ways of thinking...and finally have a look at things from a different perspective. I would love to become more fluent in Spanish and French. And of course, there's always a way to get better in English.

ABOUT ME

I'm an open-minded, creative and sportive person. I am interested in culture and languages (especially English, Frensh and Spanish). I'm rather a reader than a movie watcher, I prefer coffee to tee and I chose the backpack before a way too big suitcase. I'm a social person, I do voluntary work not because I need to to something social but because I really like to work with and for people, even if it doesn't get me tons of money.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because I think that with this way of traveling you are able to get a glace of the real every day life and culture of a country.

And, whats most important, you meet the most interesting and gentle people! Sometimes this friends become those you get for life and that's what I always saw as a big gift of traveling.

Interests

Sports: I am a former dancer, so if theres a chance to pick this sport up, i am totally in ;-) I go to the gym to keep me fit and healthy and to compensate my office job. I love surfing, but unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to do it that much. I like to go jogging and to play volleyball or Badminton.

Languages: I try to read, speak and talk as much as I can in English, French or even Spanish. Sometimes it works well, somedays I am just too exhausted ;-) I'm always up for practice.

Creative stuff: As I work in Marketing (or worked), I am affine to graphics design (photoshop etc.), photography, but I also try to sketch and to write from time to time.
