About Me
Hey, my name is Christine and I'm a student from Germany.
I find it quite difficult to describe me, because I'm interested in many different things and honestly, who likes to make discriptions of himself. ;P
First I really like to spend time with my dudes or one or more of my eight roommates. Talking about senseless stuff is at important at discussing interessting and necessary topics. We also watch series or films or plan some action beside the couch.
When I still have time I love playing one of my three instruments or spend a lot with painting/ drawing or reading books. Wich kind of book it is oesn't matter for me, as long there is a good story.
But I also love ridinng longboard, swimming, running, volleyball, and some other active stuff.
When I should tell you my most important characteristic, it would be exploring new and be amazed by the small things in life. I really like to laugh and in my opinion everyone should do that, because we have just one life to get happy.
Incidentally, I'm interested in languages, so I fluently speak German (my motherlanguage) and English. My French isn't also that bad, even if I didn't use it for longer time. And with a few phrases of Italian and Spanish communication between us should work. :)
Hope that "short" text is long enough to give you a little view at my personality. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
What I really like, when I explore a new place, is to have encounters with the people who live there. It's boring to travel somewhere without meeting some people who know this place as their homeland, even when it is a choosen one. I'd like to learn something about the culture and the way of living.
I'm really open minded and like to spend some time with you and to experience something about your "allday-buisness", when we meet, but it wouldn't be necessary if you aren't thinking that way.
Hope you give me a chance to meet you and your home.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first festival with seeing Linkingpark directly at the stage.
Visiting that great church by Gaudi in Barcelona: Sagrada Familia. I've never seen somthing comparable.
My schoolexchange to Yvetot (Normandie, France), even when it was short. It was amazing to see how kind the people were and how beatiful Rouen, another city in France, was.
Learning to ski in Switzerland.
Working in Pune, India for three weeks was the best travel so far. Amazing food and people and wonderful hiking places. Can't wait to visit it again.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I really like to help you, when I can and when I need to learn something new for that I gonna try. Hopefully with a good result. I think that I'm an interesting partner for talks. Cooking, cleaning or sth like that would also be ok for me and when you like we could also jam a little together when you like music. Or paint something together. I'm not sure what is expected in that case, but I will bring all my happiness and kindness with me. :)
