Hi there!

Me and my partner live with our dog in a modest house about 15 mins from York city centre. We are a strictly non-smoking and no drugs household.

We can offer a large single in our study - nothing fancy, but it's a bed for the night. It can be occupied by two people (we tried!) but it probably wasn't designed for more than one. If you don't mind that, we'd love to have the two of you. There's a water tank in a cupboard in this room, that you can hear dripping occasionally. This is normal, but you may hear it if you're a very light sleeper.

We have wifi and a washing machine, but no tumble dryer. You're welcome to do laundry for a contribution of £3. There's free parking on the road. You may use our kitchen, but please make sure you leave the facilities and dishes as clean and in the place where you found them.

We live in a quiet and safe residential area, so we are looking for people who respect and appreciate this environment.

We often work from home, so we will have the occasional evening off, but may not be available all the time. We are happy to offer a bed and tell you all about York and its sites, but you'd have to be quite independent as we probably won't have the time to guide you around or join you when you explore our beautiful town.

As mentioned above, we have a dog (collie cross). He loves people, so be prepared for hair and, perhaps, a kiss or two.

- Visitors only if previously agreed
- Please leave the house as you find it
- If you break something, do let us know and replace it
- Do not feed the dog
