About Me
UNVACCiNATED SURFERS WELCOME !
Due to recently received requests, please notice: it won’t improve your chance to get hosted if you tell me you are fully vaccinated. Thank you :-)
PLEASE NOTiCE: I'm not looking for a romantic encounter or anything like that!
Guys, please don't put me in a situation where I have to tell you you're going too far. Couchsurfing is not Tinder and I do have a boyfriend. Thanks!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
"A stranger is simply a friend you haven't met before." :-)
I love travelling and during the last years, I've realised that a trip is only really fun when you get in touch with locals. Especially when you're travelling on your own it is so valuable if you meet a person who gives you the feeling to be a welcome guest.
Also very interesting is, to see the different lifestyle and manner of all the people out there. I think it'll help you to be more prudent in the future when dealing with others.
I already had such great experiences with Couchsurfing. Almost every host was the best!
Quite often I found myself in the situation, that I decided to go to bed early because I was exhausted and very tired and at midnight we were still sitting together, chatting and drinking wine. :-)
While the last two years I met such great personalities and some of them I already met a second or third time. Either for a further stay, in another city or at a festival.
Music, Movies, and Books
📚 BOOKS
I've always been interested in spiritual and philosophical books (Ayurveda, Yoga, Human Design, Fromm, Watts, Osho etc.)
But since a while I focus more and more on books in which the author tries to bridge the gap between science and spirituality and to combine both apparently contrary fields to a holistic view.
e.g
Bruce Lipton: "Biology of Beliefs"
Bruce Lipton and Steve Bhaerman: "Spontaneous Evolution"
Don Beck and Chris Cowan: "Spiral Dynamics"
Dr. Joe Dispenza: "Becoming Supernatural"
Gregg Braden's books
Furthermore I love to read about travel experiences, such as:
"Long Way Round" and "Long Way Down" by Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman,
"Abgefahren" by
Klaus Schubert und Claudia Metz,
"Wild Coast. Travels on South America's Untamed Edge" by John Gimlette and many more.....
And some novels of course:
Aldous Huxley "Brave New World"; George Orwell "1984" ;
Patrick Süskind "Das Parfum"
Irvine Welsh "Trainspotting"
Simon Beckett "Animals"; Matthew Reilly "Showdown"
🎥 FILM
Some Directors I like:
Terry Gilliam, Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, David Cronenberg, Park Chan-wook, Stanley Kubrick, Wes Anderson
The Big Lebowski; One flew over the cuckcook´s nest; A Clockwork Orange; Pan's Labyrinth; Stardust; Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels; Filth; Trainspotting; T2; Star Wars Original trilogy; Braindead; A Fish Called Wanda; The Rocky Horror Picture Show; In Bruges; Lucky # Slevin; La Vita è Bella

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just a few days after I got my drivers license for motorcycles in 2017, I had to start working in Switzerland.
Because I already bought a motorbike in the north of Germany and I didn't want to spend the summer in the mountains without it, I had no choice but to pick it up in the north and to ride it all the way down to Switzerland in a couple of days. After riding 1000 Kilometres on my own with almost no experiences I gladly reached my destination without any incidents :-) 🏍
