About Me

I'm an aspiring world traveler, stuck in a 9-5 job. I live in Wichita Falls, TX, north of DFW. Monday- Thursday I work as a medical office manager and occupational therapy assistant, and on the weekends I am a club volleyball coach for 15 and 16 year olds. A couple years ago I made a goal for myself to travel while I'm young, since I have traveled to 6 countries: Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, and Mexico. In the United States I have been all over once or twice, including: California, Colorado, The Grand Canyon, Arizona, Florida, North and South Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois, New York and more. Favorite places in the US are NYC, Denver, and Chicago. I love the idea of traveling to a new country and meeting a local to help experience the actual culture not just the tourist idea of the city. My friends and I will be in London for the New Year and plan to travel to Dublin for a couple days any and all advice is welcome!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel to a new place, I don't want the city through the average tourists perspective, I want to go where to locals go and do what the locals do. I'd love to find a place for the 3 of us to stay while in London 12/28/18-1/9/19.

Interests

My ideal day would be in a new place have an awesome breakfast, the best meal of the day, read a book by the lake or in the local park, people watching, enjoy a beer...or a few, go out dancing with new or old friends.
