I am an American, currently volunteering in the Peace Corps, serving in Moldova for the last 2 years. I love to travel, meet new people, learn new cultures, and eat delicious food. I am laid back, easy going, and an introvert. I love sports and outdoor activities with a bit of an adrenaline rush junkie. I love live music and a good book.
I am a trained counselor and am passionate about empowering people, and addressing domestic violence and sexual assault.

My favorite thing about traveling are the people I meet and being exposed to new ideas and new cultures. I think that is one of the appeals of Couchsurfing, is meeting people from around the world. Also being able to explore a new place not from a tourist standpoint but from the approach and insight of a local.

My interests seem to overlap and generalize like any bad online matchmaking service...so I'll attempt to be a little more specific.
I am interested in, sports (I played basketball growing up), movies (popcorn and the previews are my favorite part- with an Icee), writing, and dance parties in my room.
