I'm a professional filmmaker. I live with my wonderful partner and he works on set in the art department. I love being in, on or under the Ocean. I love reading books and magazines, watching movies, and collaborating to make art. I care about sustainable living.

I prefer to travel like a local, and I love meeting new people. Staying at someone's home, or bringing them into ours, enriches my life. I've had very good experiences trading homes with others, and using Airbnb/VRBO rentals, so I thought this might be a way to find a bed while traveling and offer a bed to a traveler coming through California.

I love classic films and literature, science fiction movies and books, and I watch episodic dramas on HBO and Netflix. I'm not into horror films (with the exception of classics by Kubrick and Hitchcock) but I love mysteries and thrillers. I listen to rock, jazz, blues, R&B, world music, country, classical, and occasionally electronica. I'm particular about music, but there is something I enjoy in almost every genre.
