I recently took a break from my job in San Francisco - where I worked with companies and organizations on environmental sustainability - to travel for several months. My main intention for my travels is spiritual, cultural, and environmental learning - all of which I find is best done through connecting with "real" people.

I got to be a monkey-sitter for two baby howler monkeys for two weeks (at an animal sanctuary).
