ABOUT ME

I'm all about yoga an meditation right now, and am spending time in France this summer at different retreat centers, some time in Paris just feeling the vibe...maybe I will move there for a while... need an english speaking yoga teacher?? ;) I have been a dancer for most of my life, in many different forms. I still make costumes, but am shifting out of that now as I travel the world!
I tend to be cheerful an boisterous, and the sardonic edge is leaving me as I get deeper into my meditation practices, but I am still rather on the edgy side (seriously, the group I sit with here in NYC is Dharma Punx - check em out! http://www.dharmapunxnyc.com/ ).
hmm what else... struggling with my addictions to Cheese and Iced americanos... keeping fit with gym and class, sucking marrow out of life's bones, ya know - stuff like that...)
Living wise, I have very little these days, and am packing very light as I travel this summer. I like quiet and clean, although I realise I am saying this having lived in some of the noisiest cities EVER, so...
I DO NOT: snore, smoke, get plastered, or litter.
I DO: see live music when I can, walk everywhere, appreciate a well made espresso, and love my parents. :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

AMAZING??? wtf - ok - having an opera company sing happy birthday to me (I was their choreographer) sticks out. Conquered 2 of my major phobias and the experiences were amzing and a bit private for this site... hmmm... Maybe waking up on a train to sunrise over "amber fields of grain" quite literally. the smell of a Redwood Forest. Big Round Stone beach in NZ... but heck, feeling my ribcage expand and contract when I breath is amazing to me, so...
