ABOUT ME

I'm pretty laid back, a bit shy, and some would say strange. I long to travel and take risks like I did in my younger days, when I was naive and had no fear at all. I do feel blessed to have lived and worked in so many awesome and beautiful areas. I wish that there was more kindness is people's hearts, with no room for hatred and judgment. I strive to keep a positive spirit and always treat others with kindness.

Only baby surfing so far...I have hosted once, and it was an awesome experience!

兴趣

Cultures different from my own, experiencing and living in as many areas of the U.S. as possible. Kneading pizza dough and making sushi are very relaxing to me. Camping!!! I love to sleep in my tent and spend days smelling like campfire smoke! I'm addicted to fresh, strong coffee and earl grey tea. Can never get enough of wicked thunder and lightning storms.

OK...need to take some time with this one..but just finished reading and thoroughly enjoyed the childhood biography of Jimmy Carter (one of my heroes...BRING BACK JIMMY!) Music...my new obsession is Blind Pilot, going to see them at Colorado Chautauqua. Most recently been listening to Chris Smither, David Baerwald, Darden Smith and some Zydeco. Movies? I confess that I'm a NetFlixaholic.

Hitchhiking and hosteling throughout North Island New Zealand, being swayed by the winds and singing to the moon on the edge of Ubehebe Crater, sleeping under the stars with my best friend at Chaco Canyon, being wrapped and massaged "where it hurts" at Hot Springs Arkansas :)
