About Me
Hello Friends,
I’m Christine. I’m excited to use this platform again to connect with more hosts and friends in Europe and Australia!
A little about my journey— I spent almost 4 years working and studying in China before and during COVID. Once the world reopened, I felt the urge to explore beyond Asia. So last year, I applied for a working holiday visa and have had an incredible experience so far!
I spent 2 months in Germany this year and thanks so much many hosts gave me a shelter, so i rented a room in Hobart at the moment and welcome traveler to visit this amazing city and the island.
A little about my fantastic job:
I work as a travel designer for a Taiwanese agency, which means I’ll be working remotely from time to time, I also have some casual works in Hobart so pretty get myself busy.
A little about me beyond work:
I love cooking, jogging, and long walks. I’m also passionate about animal welfare (definitely a dog & cat person!) and enjoy wine tasting.
Looking forward to meeting amazing people and sharing great experiences! 😊
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my budget-friendly travels in Europe, I’m excited to experience this journey in a unique and meaningful way. I first heard about Couchsurfing when I was younger but never had the chance to try it—now, I’m eager to give it a go and see if I can meet new and interesting people along the way!
As a guest or host, I’m friendly, tidy, quiet, and reliable. I always do my best to keep spaces clean and would love to share a home-cooked meal with my host/guest.

Teach, Learn, Share
I’d be happy to offer a simple and easy Mandarin lesson, as I have experience teaching Mandarin online in English to my American students.
That said, I’m even more excited to immerse myself in a German-speaking environment fully—learning new grammar, vocabulary, and funny expressions daily while in Germany!
I also love sharing travel experiences, but I know many hosts and fellow travelers have even more incredible stories than I do—so I’m all ears! 😊
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking – I’m not a certified chef, but I’d be happy to cook some quick and tasty Taiwanese dishes for you—it would be my pleasure!
Language Exchange – If you're interested in learning Cantonese or Mandarin, I’d love to help.
Jogging – If you’re into jogging, count me in! I’d love to join—it’s not just something I can share but a great way for both of us to enjoy together. 😆🏃♀️
