ABOUT ME

I'm a 24 year old college graduate who has been studying hard for the past five years of my life. When I'm not in school I'm working and when I'm not working I'm playing. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and have the most fun when I'm cooking a fabulous meal for my friends and engaged in a thought provoking conversation.

I'm the type of girl who won't say no to an adventure as long as it doesn't involve roller coasters or being flung 200 feet from a bridge. I love asking questions but get a little flustered if people ask me too many questions; I tend to need some time to think about things before giving an answer. I'll always make the effort to make sure that people around me are taken care of and their needs are met.

PHILOSOPHY

This is the only life we have and this is the only planet we get to live it on so why not take advantage by experiencing as much of it as possible. Take care of your fellow people, hold a door open on occasion, make a point to smile openly, and above all...have fun as long as it doesn't bring harm to others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the CS Project so I'm looking to meet a few new people either by letting them stay with me or by staying with them. I feel like opportunities like this are few and far between and the best way to keep them going is by participating.

Hiking, biking, walking, baking, talking, writing, playing, going to the theater, watching movies, reading books (memoirs are my personal favorites right now), learning about new places, being challenged and challenging people; cooking in general especially when I find a new recipe.

music: everything and anything. I'm open to all new experiences. I'll hit up a jazz club on night, a hip hop club the next, head over to a folk show a little later, and then fall asleep to some classical.

movies: lots of chick flicks and action movies...but only the kinds that actually make you think about what is going on.
