ABOUT ME

i'm a positive experience, i was once told.

i'm working on several goals at the moment. i would like to graduate with my bachelor's before i turn 30.
currently i attend FIT with a major in international trade and marketing and a double minor in latin america and asia studies. after january 27th, i will have succeeded (my 30th birthday is february 10th) :)

my goal in the long run is to ultimately end up in paris or london, but as everyone's well aware, the economy is pretty rotten right now and employment is at one of the all time lows.

PHILOSOPHY

i was taught that one should not live life with any regrets. this in turn has made me more aware of my actions - such as thinking before acting and also considering what it is like to live in someone else's shoes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i'm available for coffee or drinks. my apt's pretty tiny and i travel a lot so rarely is my couch free for surfing. but whenever i receive requests to meet up for coffee or drinks, i am more than willing to show strangers around my city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

cs has been a wonderfully positive experience for me. i've made several friends and fond memories of the times we shared. in fact, many of my cs friends, i still speak with on a regular basis. i'm a people person, an extrovert, and i enjoy learning new things. there is nothing that i love more than to travel somewhere and spend time with locals to learn their way of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

too many to list, but my taste widely varies. music ranges from jawbreaker to magnetic fields to classical. for films, lately i've taken more to indie films than blockbusters. i have always had a passion and appreciation for the written word. right now i'm re-reading catcher in the rye, a confederacy of dunces, and slaughterhouse five. i like the classics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

lying on the top of a rent a car on the big island in hawaii after sunset and looking at all the stars. watching the sunset on kauai sitting on a picnic table on the beach and listening to modest mouse.
