I love the CS concept. So many times I've been travelling and have thought-if only there was someone's house I could crash at. Just being able to ask them questions about where to eat and what are the best things to see to make the most of that city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed a lot of places I've been. (through friends) Living in Asia for 2 years helped map out people I know all over the world.
