Grew up half in Los Angeles, half in Chicago, and have had the opportunity to stumble upon a lot of life adventures so far. My parents are Korean immigrants, and I've grown up with a love of cultures and figuring out my identity of a Korean-American girl with the heart of a Latina. (Hah!)

Oh. And I'm VERY not shy. I love people and new experiences - it just brings out the best in me.

I love culture, travel, and FOOD. Meeting new people is also a favorite. I like to live the adventurous life, love to dance (recently found a love of salsa dancing), and I love Jesus.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I had the opportunity to live in a remote village on the side of a mountain somewhere in the jungle-like area in Guatemala for 2 weeks in 2010. Probably one of the most rugged, raw experiences of my life - loved every bit of it. Got to live amongst the villagers in a hut they built for my team and I, hike and trail blaze every day for a minimum of 3-4 hours, become best friends with the village children, and just live with the basics, learning to sincerely value people and community. Something about it - just love every bit of the memory.

I've had the amazing opportunity to travel to some amazing places in my life. All I can say, is seek out good community, don't let yourself stay in situations/places that take away from your joy, and live intentionally. There's too much bad out there in this world already, so you need to protect yourself from it by seeking out good and maintaining the good within you.
