CURRENT MISSION

Our current mission is to travel and meet new people and exchange stories. As well as, having an adventure that we can remember for the rest of our lives!!

ABOUT ME

We both are from California. Dean grew up on skateboarding, playing guitar, and studied social justice in Santa Cruz. Christine has a fond interest in biology (entomology), math, and culinary arts. We met in Los Angeles 4 years ago and have been traveling the whole United States mainland ever since. We are avid campers and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the outdoors. A year ago, we both moved across our country to Brooklyn, New York from California. We moved out of our apartment at the end of August 2017 and drove about 5000 km to California to be with family, after a family emergency. We decided to embark on our current travels last minute, so we will be living on credit and our prior security deposit from our old apartment. So far we plan on going to Taiwan, Laos, Nepal, and possibly India; however, we are not set on any countries. We are easygoing and downright appreciative of the journey .

PHILOSOPHY
Growth is essential. Vulnerability is not weakness. It’s okay to be scared, it makes us human. Live your life to its full potential.

We are willing to give as much hospitality to anyone we come across as long as we have the means to do so.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our couchsurfing experience has been wonderful so far. The guest we have hosted was not through this site but in person. We have seen people in need and offered our hospitality on the spot. We love exchanging stories and growing from the past, present, and future experiences we are dealt with.

We drove across the United States at least 4 times just to explore different biomes.

Christine recently gotten into baking bread and pastries; as well as, she can make certain noodles from scratch.
Dean has been honing in to his pickling.
We would love to learn about cultures from around the world and be exposed to different culinary opportunities.
We would love to share our experiences in traveling both in road trips across the United States and backpacking throughout Southeast Asia.
