ABOUT ME
If all goes according to plan, one day I'll be studying marine biology on the beautiful coast of somewhere, painting the scenery around me in my spare time and using my work as s good excuse to travel to other beautiful coasts. In the mean time, I am graduate student studying biology in Canada and loving it, but taking opportunites to have adventures on the side, like doing the exchange program to Fiji that I did a couple years ago.
PHILOSOPHY
"spend the afternoon. you can't take it with you"
- Annie Dillard
"The question is not 'can you make a difference?' You already do make a difference. It's just a matter of what kind of difference you make, during your life on this planet."
- Julia Butterfly Hill
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I travelled Europe with a friend after graduating high school, we stayed with people everywhere we went, mostly friends and family of my travel buddy, though they were all strangers to me. And it was a fantastic experience. I found that staying with people, who really know the place you're in, takes your trip deeper than a surface-level, purely touristy stay, and I also found this to be true when couch surfing around New Zealand.

My secret talent (well not so secret now that I'm telling you) is circus, and I'm always happy to share a few tricks and tips with eager learners. Usually chinese yo-yo or a bit of human pyramids. I love learning more about the area I'm in, especially about the nature and wildlife.
