Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION Live life authentically. Take steps so that I can live a fulfilling life helping people. ABOUT ME I just finished a post-baccalaureate premedical program at Hopkins (I was not premed in college, but decided that I want to be a doctor). I'm originally from Miami, FL, and after some soul-searching in California, I started a service term in Colorado with AmeriCorps' Community HealthCorps at Salud Family Health Centers, a clinic for vulnerable populations. I did research in developmental cognitive neurology (neuroimaging), but now I’m coordinating a really cool study in pediatric cardiology while I apply to grad school. PHILOSOPHY Be kind. Never stop learning. Try new things. Stay true to your authentic self! I love meeting people from all over the world and from all walks of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just finished my program at Hopkins, and am still in my apartment which is right next to the Homewood campus. I hope to be able to host and meet some interesting people now that I have a home to share!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I decided to drive from Los Angeles to the Bay Area and see where life took me, but I didn't have a job or house lined up yet. I stayed with some really great people and had a great experience. I love the Couchsurfing community and I'm excited to host!
