I live in a state of chaos. Mostly. My house is chaotic and messy but if you need a couch to crash on, this place is full of laughter and critters and love. And if I like you- food. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like people case by case. Meaning I don't particularly like crowds of people I will never get to know but I enjoy people in my home and one on one I find people very interesting. Also I live in a very cool place that is a secret even to some seasoned New Yorkers.

Music, Movies, and Books

The music I like is mostly singer songwriter stuff. But I have a very eclectic collection of music from swing to native american flute. Why is this information even requested?
Movies? Yes. I like movies.
Books? I am an avid reader and collector of books. Mostly field guides these days, I read all of Stephen Kings books, all of Larry Mc Murtrys books and all of Barbara Kingsolvers books and many many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Peru with three very dear friends and drank Ayahuasca in the jungle with a shaman.
Also, I traveled to Illinois to compete in and win the arm wrestling nationals in 2002. Yeah it was a long time ago.
