CURRENT MISSION

my current objective is to become a teacher. It is my dream to teach children the English and Spanish language so that may travel and have way to get connected to an international community one day.

AME

There's not much to know about myself besides the fact that I indulge in reading, running and Pizza. And here's one of my second characteristics, dry humour. Currently I'm studying English and Spanish to become a teacher some day (hopefully) and right now I am doing a Teaching Assistantship in the National Liberal Arts College Oberlin, Ohio. I used to have long hair reaching to my armpits because I was and truthfully still am addicted to Heavy Metal music. (Just in case you're worried about me turning up the volume at 4 o'clock in the morning, never mind. I won't bring any computer or amplifiers with me. I'd be very pleased to get to know you guys and spend a lovely time together.

To be honest, I'm a complete freshmen n this field. This is the first time I applied on a couchsurfing website and I'm really looking forward to this experience. And who knows.

My greatest hobby is languages. I love learning new languages and writing texts. My favourite language is Spanish which I intend to improve. Basically I like talking about psychological stuff and philosophy. Another hobby of mine is literature. I love reading books and talking about them afterwards. Four years ago I spent a year abroad in Peru so I really became a fan of Latin American culture and that's where I also learnt to apply the Spanish language on an oral basis. So I'm looking forward to meeting you to share my experiences and to experience your culture from a more personal angle.

I love thrillers and especially sophisticated movies. My favourite movie is Cloud Atlas with Tom Hanks. This movie manages to convey an amazing message with solely a handful of extremely competent actors.
I love Heavy metal. I've been to several metal festivals which were all extraordinary experiences.
I like reading Spanish and English literature, although my favourite author still is Thomas Mann.

The social service I did in Peru one year ago was a very special experience for me (not all the experiences were positive of course). But this year has definitely affected my personality. The most beautiful thing I experienced there was the trip we did to the lake of Titicaca. Never in my life have I seen such a beautiful sunset. Furthermore we spent a couple of days in the Northern Rainforest of Peru. We lived for five days in a remote shack of a dutch Shaman without electricity. That was a hell of an experience bathing with your knees in the mud and flies annoying you.
