Hi, my name is Christoph, I am 28 years old (or young). I am very open-minded and love to travel. Not just everywhere in Europe, but also SE-Asia and US for example.

Kind of a new thing for me is to travel alone more, I expect to get to know a lot more cool foreign people compared to traveling with a group of friends.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am new to Couchsurfing in general, during my previous trips I preferred staying in an AirBnb-Flat. However, I've booked an Interrail-Trip for July 2022 and I thought that maybe Couchsurfing would be also a cool way to get to know local people in all kind of Cities/Countries. This is especially true if you travel alone I guess :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I experienced a precipitate labour as an 18 year old rookie paramedic together with my collegue who was also a rookie (without any Doctor present, not even on the way at that moment), the child was born healthy and this even made it to the newspaper in my small hometown. It was cool that everything has worked out fine, nontheless this was really terrifying for both of us rookie paramedics. This comes from a paramedic that has also revived 2 persons with a CPR during my 9 month community service.

My consequences because of this: I absolutely cannot recommend the front view during a labour, for all men and women. Assisting my (not yet existent) wife standing beside her shoulder must be enough if it ever comes to that. This birth emergency has affected the sexuality (mine and my colleague's) badly for 4 weeks straight after this incident. Be warned! :D

I can talk about all kind of technology stuff non-stop if somebody is curious about this favorite topic of mine. So if you always asked yourself questions like: How does electricity really work? What's AI really? How does a computer/smartphone do all these cool things -> I can explain it to you in a very simplified, but still correct way :)

I will probably ask you a lot of questions of the culture you are living in. Not just your hometown, but also your country in general. I want to get a feeling of the people in every part of the world I am currently traveling in :)

I've heard that it's quite fun to go out for some drinks with me, so that's that :D
I will also gladly help you with cleaning/cooking during my stay and I always respect the home of others. I of course do not expect any kind of special treatment like with my stays in Hotels/Airbnbs.
