Overview
About Me
I am a mechanical engineering student at RWTH Aachen University. I was born in 1995, grew up in a little town close to Hamburg, spent half a year in Minnesota for an American high school experience, finished school with 19 back in Germany and then moved to Aachen for my studies.
During my studies in Aachen I want to take time to explore a little bit of the world every now and then.
These are some topics I always enjoy talking about:
- sports: especially soccer and football
- music: I have an interesting taste in music according to my friends: trap nation, suicide sheep, female vocal dubstep. I also play the piano.
- hobbies: diving, motor bike, jogging, netflix (of course)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I have a lot of time, but little money, I created this profile. Sophie (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/sophie-wetz) and me share an appartement in Aachen and have hosted about 10 people . This is how I first got in touch with couchsurfing.
I think it's really great, because you get to meet people from all across the world, share a meal with them and open up your own horizon. The conversations I've had with our couchsurfers were very different from all the conversations I usually have with my friends. I enjoyed that a lot and it moved me what other people have on their minds compared to my "typical German friends".
.
As I enjoy travelling, I am looking forward to meet people from all over the world.
