I love travelling and meet new people, share thoughts with them and understand their opinions. I studied maths (therefore sometimes a bit to analytic) and was working in IT (thus bit of a geek). I cannot dance, but this has nothing to do with my preference of metal music. I work to live, not the other way 'round, which is a rare attitude in the region I'm from. Although I'm obviously travelling as a tourist, I don't like tourist places, because they don't reflect the country at all. Thus I don't expect touristic guidance :)

Estudié mathemáticas (por eso a veces soy bastante analitico) y trabajé como programmador (entonces soy un poco geek). No puedo bailar, pero eso no tiene nada que ver con mi preferencia a la música de heavy metal. Trabajo para vivir, no al revés - que es una postura escaso en la región donde nací. Aunque obviamene viajo como turista, no me gustan lugars típicos turisticos, porque no reflejan nada del país. Entonces no espero un guía turístico :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The community is a great possibility to meet locals, that like to know something about other places, practise a language or spend a good time.

I started using couchsurfing mostly to meet up on my Latinamerica trip. I usually don't mind to stay in a hostel - but I don't reject an serious invitation for a couch either :)

Unfortunately I cannot host people in the appartment I'm living at the moment, because my flatmates don't agree.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I never forget the 2 days I stayed at a street-crossing in the deserted north of Paraguay at incredible charming person named Julio sharing some thoughts with him using the few spanish words I new those days.

It was the reason I came back 10 years later for an 8 months stay in mostly Peru and Bolivia, which turned out to be the best idea ever.
