My name is Chris, I'm 19 years old and studying physics at university currently.
When not at university I live in a small village in Cambridgeshire in the middle of nowhere :')

In my free time I play football for my faculty's team, I skateboard ( though I'm average at best) and I play guitar (much worse than average ).
Also I have been learning Spanish for quite a while now through Duolingo and other outlets.

What I love more than anything though is hiking , camping and outdoorsy type things.

I am on couchsurfing as I would love to learn more Spanish and test out what I already know.
As i have limited access to Spanish speakers and audio where I live, I have had very little practice with hearing and responding to native speakers and I would like to change that. :)

Music:
Foo fighters, Muse, Royal Blood. Mostly Rock music but I like most music.

Movies:
Generally action or comedies. I especially love true stories as well.

Books:
I haven't read a lot recently which is a shame. As a child I loved the series of unfortunate events books as well as the Harry Potter series and Horrible Histories.

This is really difficult.... :)
A couple of years ago I helped lead an expedition for a local scout group. We were away for about 3 weeks and covered over 200 miles across the UK.

Or more recently I went to Iceland with a friend and his family and saw the Northern lights. Iceland was truly incredible.

So I've already said I want to learn Spanish which is my main goal.
But I love history and if you know anything about the local area, it would be great to hear it.
